Here is a cake I made recently for a photo contest submission at Polanoid.net. The contest was to celebrate Edwin Land's 100th birthday somehow and take a Polaroid of it. I decided to add a twist of sugar to the old SX-70 camera. The prize is a pack of the new film that is being made by the impossible project who will be releasing new instant films come 2010!
INGREDIENTS:
2 boxes of chocolate cake
1 can of vanilla frosting
1 can of chocolate frosting
1 red food coloring lid
1 black 35mm canister cap
oodles of patience.

Some Half-Framers
Apparently I haven't been posting enough on this blogosphere according to my homey Jared over at Meattortillas so here you are. These are some Half frame crap scans from negs taken with an Olympus Pen F. If you don't know what that is, it allows you to shoot 72 photos on a roll of 35mm with 36 exposures. It takes forever to get through a roll and which leads me to completely forget what I have shot. Kinda fun.
